Today’s Single of the Week is a short but sweet tune named Birdflu Vol. 1. From production duo PaperWater and vocalist/singer-songwriter Voila Snow, it’s a dance-able electronic rhythmic track with a groovy guitar riff and psychedelic chimes.

With super impressive production and sensual vocals it’s an easy, chilled-out listen channeling the flavour of Kehlani and bearing slight similarities to the work of Kaytranada, and even reminding me of the spine-tingling indie-pop from British group Arctic Lake.
This track is only an addition to a selection of stellar tracks PaperWater and Floridian Voila Snow has previously released as part of #52weeks – an online challenge PaperWater have set themselves to release a track every week for a full year. So with quite a while left we may get to experience even more dynamite from this awesome threesome.
