Brite Spires debut fresh female led lineup with addictive Electro-Pop single

Brite Spires have already made waves in their local scenes in Oxford and London with their dreamy blend of classic indie, synth-pop and disco, gaining them praise from the likes of BBC Introducing. Their new single ‘Youth Movement Disco (2020 Version)’ will be released on May 29th and marks the debut of their new lead singer Natalia Starks, reviving a fan favourite track and establishing themselves as one to watch in the wondrous world of female-led indie bands.

Before joining the band Natalia has worked as classical musician, go-go girl and international model. Their bassist Fischer Luigi, hails original from Italy of German extraction and has played across Europe and drummer Cal Brumhead and guitarist Drew Atkins have played in several bands in the Oxford music scene, though have now relocated to London. Drew’s journey has gained him a star studded resume, having worked with legends such as Supergrass and Radiohead.

“The singer’s sugary, disco drawl drapes endearingly over shimmering synth keys and pop beats”

Oxfordshire Music Scene

The track explores Natalia’s early life in Georgia and blends addictive disco beats and irresistible song writing to create an indie earworm that will have fans of Christine and The Queens, CHVRCES and New Order begging for more.

Make sure to keep an eye on their Spotify and social media to be the first to hear when the track is released tomorrow (29th May) and to keep updated about future projects as we’re sure this isn’t the last you’ll hear of Brite Spires.
